SARTORIAL TOKYO

Streetwise Japan.
I would have been born a Harajuku girl if I were Japanese. They get DECKED! {Note image 1 and all full-skirted girls thereafter.} From head to toe: wigs, false eyelashes, colored contacts, face paint, layers of clothing, cartoon accessories, vintage shoes. Hello, Kitty: Can elshane be reborn into a Japanese teenybopper? Puuuur-tee please?
Punk Goth is a mah-ja moment, too. Biker, black, studs, rips and tears, sans tattoos. {softies/kewlies}.
Loved how many chicas covered their smiles during photos. Tee-hee-hee!
And we cannot forget the Korean Airlines stewardesses. Whoever styled these uniforms is a mastermind of peaceful chicness.

HI! IT'S ELSHANE FROM LOS ANGELES, CA
(BY WAY OF NEW YORK CITY)

I STARTED MY BLOG IN 2010 AS A WAY TO ARCHIVE ALL OF THE ONE-OF-A-KIND RUNWAY PIECES THAT I OWNED FROM WORKING AS THE IN-HOUSE STYLIST FOR DIANE VON FURSTENBERG IN NYC.

THEN, IT ALL HAPPENED SO FAST... BIO
